Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to request deletion of any personal data that AAA NetworkX Inc. ("AAA NetworkX", "we", "us") may hold about you, including data associated with our connected social media applications (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).

1. What data we hold

AAA NetworkX is a managed IT and cybersecurity firm based in Edmonton, Alberta. We do not operate a consumer service and do not collect personal data from third-party social media users via the Meta or LinkedIn APIs. The applications we maintain ("AAA NetworkX AutoBlog") are single-tenant and used only to publish content to our own social media accounts.

The personal data we may hold about you is limited to:

  • Information you have voluntarily provided through our website contact form, email, or phone (name, email address, phone number, message content)
  • Standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, timestamps) retained briefly for security and abuse detection
  • Content of any business correspondence between us and you (proposals, contracts, support tickets, invoices)

2. How to request deletion

To request deletion of personal data we hold about you, contact us using one of the following methods. Identify yourself with the email address or phone number originally used to contact us, so we can locate the relevant records.

3. Response timeline

We will acknowledge your request within five (5) business days and complete the deletion within thirty (30) days, subject to lawful retention obligations described in section 5.

4. Data we delete from connected social media platforms

If your request relates to data on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn that we accessed via API in connection with our own posting activity, please note: we do not retain copies of third-party user content (comments, profile data, messages) on our systems beyond what the platforms themselves display. The most reliable way to delete that data is through the platform itself:

5. Lawful retention obligations

Some records — including invoices, signed contracts, and audit-related logs — are retained for periods required by Canadian and Alberta law (for example, the Income Tax Act requires retention of business records for six years after the end of the tax year). We will inform you if any portion of your data falls under such an obligation and cannot be immediately deleted.

6. Verification

To prevent unauthorized deletion, we may verify your identity before processing the request — for example, by replying from the email address on file or confirming a detail of prior correspondence.
